Have you ever seen something so sad in your life?
All those beautiful OG Blades, all being laid to rest. I can only imagine the collection of broken OG Blades guys like Greg Gurenlian, Jerry Ragonese and AK have accumulated over their years.
If you don’t know, kids, OG means Original Gangster.
These OG Blades were made from a time when lacrosse head plastic was flexible but durable. Some OG Blades are currently at auction on eBay for upward of $400.
The reason: They are the best faceoff head, EVER!
Argue with me and your arguing with the best at the art of facing off, and that just can’t be done.
Let’s all gather for a moment of silence for all of these beautiful OG Blades that Outlaw’s faceoff man, Anthony Kelly, destroyed over the past year.
Based on what this guy does to lacrosse’s treasures, we should probably never let AK come near the Smithsonian Institution, the National Archives Building, or heck, he should probably just stay away from Washington, D.C., just to keep American heirlooms safe. Hulk Smash!
Here’s a video from Lizard’s FOGO, Greg Gurenlian, on the difference between the OG and the Pro.
